Dryer
Except for the chemical bonding nonwoven materials, Trützschler Nonwovens also has many different methods for the finishing of the nonwoven materials: Dipping Heat setting Adjustment Drying Trützschler is a family-owned group of machine building companies which are active in the fields of spinning preparation, nonwovens and card clothings. Trützschler Nonwovens are one powerful brand with decades of experience in their respective fields. Being“Always innovative” is one of the guiding stars so customers can continuously profit from latest technical solutions. Trützschler Nonwovens adopted the idea of modular concepts some 3 years ago. New developments since then mostly are plug-and-play units. Pre-assembled and pre-tested at the Trützschler factories they reduce installation times significantly. A new design for an energy-efficient multi-drum dryer It started with the re-designed multi-drum dryer in 2015. Besides being modular, the component’s radically new design allows for substantial reduction in energy consumption. In a conventional drum dryer, the exhaust air passes the heating system before being extracted. The air is unnecessarily heated - when leaving the dryer it takes this energy with it. The major change is an additional chamber between drums and the heating system (patent pending). This chamber is the interface to exhaust air duct fresh air supply. In the new design the less hot, moist exhaust air is extracted before passing the heating system. The heat loss from the exhaust air decreases by up to 20%.
