The modular AquaJet
The original Fleissner AquaJet is Trützschler Nonwovens a highly advanced and proven spunlacing unit. Each AquaJet is tailor-made to the specific technical product and process requirements of the individual investment. What happens when requirements change?
The modular AquaJet is designed for answering this question. It offer above all, flexibility. The core consists of 2 spunlace drums that can be combined with one of three compaction systems and one of four dewatering types. So the modular AquaJet provides the best overall solution for individual applications: If a product range is to be changed, it can be converted without much effort. For instance, to process higher web weights or realise higher line speeds.

Approximately 10% less energy consumption with belt-strip compaction
Trützschler Nonwovens developed a new, energy-efficient compaction system for the AquaJet. The belt-stripü compaction system can be used for processing standard materials up to 100 gms.
Tehcnical details: the rolls and the compaction belt needed for both belt-belt and belt-drum compaction are no longer needed, so the number of drives is reduced. However, more importantly, the first jet head for wetting and pre-entangling can be omitted which both reduces energy and water consumption. The system is still being extensively tested concerning its potential for a broader range of web weights and line speeds.
 
A specialised mother roll winder for spunlacing lines
Hydroentangled wipe substrates are often produced on large systems. For this area of application, the master roll winder SkyWind has been developped. Equipped with surface drive, the unit is characterised by robustness, simple operation and high availability.
SkyWind is an alternative to the proven, fully automatic turret disc winder BWT 202 with axial and surface drive and inline slitting capability.
